Queen Bee Artisan Crackers
These are so addictive!
You will need a sideless baking sheet for this recipe
2 cups Queen Bee Cake, Cookie, Muffin flour + 2 Tb if dough is too sticky
1 tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
⅓ cup vegetable oil
2 Tb vinegar
½ cup water
2 Tb toasted sesame seeds, or caraway seeds (optional)
1 egg white
sea salt
fresh pepper
Whisk one 1 egg white with 1-2 Tb water. Lightly toast sesame seeds in hot skillet.
Preheat oven to 365° degrees. Lightly oil/grease a standard side less cookie sheet.
Sift together first 3 ingredients. Add next 3 ingredients, mix well. Cover dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 25-30 minutes.
Roll out half of the dough on the cookie sheet (keep other half refrigerated); should be very thin and evenly distributed and cover almost entire sheet.
Brush lightly with egg white/water mixture and sprinkle with salt, pepper, sesame seeds.
Lightly press.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes until browned. When done, slide onto a cooking rack. When cool break into pieces.
Optional: After rolling out dough, cut into squares, then bake.
